rotation/notation
a soundinstallation for 16 microphones, speakers and amplifiers
steve reich´s work pendulum music (1968) is the starting point for the
work rotation/notation. the feedback between loudspeaker and
microphone forms the installations sound material. by means of this usually unwanted effect in music an extended and permanently changing composition is created with the help of a mechanical apparatus.
